NBA Betting: Why The Warriors Will End The Finals In Game 6

The 2015 NBA Finals has been an incredible series as the Cleveland Cavaliers have fought valiantly even while missing several key contributors (due to injury). They find themselves as a 4.5-point home dog on the betting lines for Game 6, though, and while most sports betting tips suggest that they can cover that number at home, the smart money is on the Warriors sealing the deal. Here’s why:

Why The Warriors Will Win Game 6
The Warriors have seemingly figured out how to deal with Cleveland’s size and even though Andre Igoudala is a horrible free-throw shooter all of a sudden (he has been getting worse in recent years, but he is shooting 33% in the Finals), he has allowed the Warriors to play small and use their speed to confuse the Cavaliers. He is also their best defensive option against James, although Draymond Green has stepped up over the last couple of games to at least make James work for what he gets.

But a major reason why the Warriors have taken control of the NBA Finals is that Stephen Curry is playing like the MVP he is. While the story of Matthew Dellavedova has been a nice story and he has done a great job of running with Curry, the Warriors’ guard has broken through and he was a monster in Game 5 with 37 points, shooting 13-of-23 from the field, including 7-of-13 from three-point land. When Curry wasn’t hitting the shots he has hit all season, the Warriors were easier to handle. When he is, Golden State is basically unguardable. They could put James on Curry, but then James has to expend a ton of energy chasing Curry around screens and he already has to carry the offense. Then who do you put Dellavedova on? Igoudala and Harrison Barnes could take him down in the post at will.

If you’re looking for sports betting tips, heed the advice: Golden State wins in Game 6.
